Sea Monsters Unearthed

This design was created for class with the objective to produce an exhibition poster that will be interesting for anyone who sees it. Sea Monsters Unearthed was an exhibit at the Smithsonian Museum about new fossils that had been dug up off the ivory coast. The different textures were found on Unsplash, since they make it easy to credit the photographers for their images. Then, the textures were edited into different shapes to create the composition, and a drop shadow was added for depth. Specific illustrations are placed in the waves and sand to show the skeletons of the modern-day descendants of the fossils that were found.
